I have had a strong love for math since I was in elementary school. I enjoy solving problems, learning formulas, and applying my math skills to real life situations. I am relatively advanced in math, and am on track to finish a year of Calculus before graduating High School. A lot of my interest in math comes from my middle school math teacher, who is one of my role models, and made middle school math one of my favorite subjects, inspiring me to improve my math skills beyond educational requirements.

This year I took Geometry and Statistics for my math class, but chose to take Algebra 3-4 as an elective. I enjoyed both classes, which were taught by incredible teachers, but in terms of the subject material, I really enjoyed Algebra. Toward the end of the year we studied the unit circle (displayed in the image above), and it is now one of the parts of math I enjoy the most.
